Looking for school bus drivers in Erin/Rockwood/Fergus ON. We are a locally owned and operated school bus company looking to add safe and reliable drivers to our team. Training is provided at no cost, with ongoing training during the year.

  • You must hold a valid G license and be over 21 to qualify
  • Area of availability : Fergus, Elora, Guelph, Erin and Rockwood, Ontario
  • School Routes Morning and Afternoon available, Monday to Friday. Nights, holidays and weekends off.

  • Motor coach experience would be an asset but not necessary.
  • Training provided for license upgrade from G class

Denny’s Bus Lines LTD., is looking for a qualified 310T Mechanic to join our team.

We service a fleet of over 100 vehicles, including school buses and motor coaches. If you are safety minded, forward thinking and want to see your efforts have a direct impact, we want to hear from you.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package as well as a competitive salary. The hours of work are from 8:00 – 5:00, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of school buses and motor coaches
  • Completing diagnostic tests and testing repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Conducting vehicle safety inspections and safety testing
  • Installation of new and add on equipment
  • Accurate completion of work orders and time cards
  • Maintaining accurate records of work both manually and using a computerized program.
  • Promoting and maintaining safe working conditions and adherence to occupational Health & Safety Regulations
  • Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
  • Coaching and training apprentices
  • Other mechanical repair work as required, including other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants must have/be:

  • Experience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles, equipment, and machinery including leading preventative maintenance programs, safety and annual maintenance inspections
  • A valid G-Level Ontario Driver’s Licence
  • A valid 310T Licence
  • A good working knowledge of English, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills as well as proven problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative approach, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable and safety conscious
  • Experience working in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Able to regularly lift and /or move up to 12kg, frequently lift and/or move up to 23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45kg. Physical dexterity is essential.
  • Possess and maintain own hand tools required for the job
